This week, you are exploring research ideas by reading about different entrepreneurs. You are also writing research questions to help guide your quest for new knowledge. Drawing upon the work that you are doing this week, compare and contrast two entrepreneurs that you have read about. What are their similarities and differences? Which questions did you answer by reading about them? Remember that your response must be at least eight sentences, you should answer all of the questions in this prompt, don't forget to include the entrpreneurs' names and the businesses that they started, and remember to proofread your response to check for spelling or punctuation errors. I can't wait to read about the great business leaders from you
well im going to be comparing satoshi tajiri and markus persson. satoshi tajiri is a japanese game creator/devoloper. on the other hand markus is a swedishgame creator. both own their own game company. also both don't like violence alot. satoshi tries to stay away from violence "i was really careful in making monsters faint rather than die. i think that young people playing games have an abnormal concept about dying. they start to lose and say 'im dying'. its not right for kids to think about a concept of death that way. they need to treat death with more respect." says satosi tajiri. ( interview with time asia.) notch has many games based off of other games while satoshi 's games are all mostly the same genre ; pokemon.

Mr. Tajiri sounds like a fascinating person, it's unusual to hear about a video game creator who feels so put off by unnecessary violence in games. If you like anime movies, you should check out Spirited Away. It's about a spoiled little girl who takes her family for granted, until they are turned into pigs, and she is faced with defeating an evil sorceress. It is a stunning film.

This week I found two entrepreneurs that were very interesting, Coco chanel, and Ben and Jerrys ice cream company! They are both very alike and yet diffrent. Ben and Jerrys for one is an ice cream company they make millions of yummy frozen treats. Chanels company offers high end fashion and of course purses. Both of these highly sucessful buisseness started from somewhere small and built there way up. Ben and Jerry had alot of debt when they first started the company Jerry was a failing med school student and Ben was just living life. One day when they were driving around town they saw a gas station for sale. This small gas station would then been transformed into an ice cream wonderland by the two best friends. The bussieness took off for Ben and Jerry. Coco Chanel started making suits when she was younger fashion always was her thing while growing up. She made these suits from old clothing and other matierels she found. Many people then wanted her products! Her bussieness was BOOMING. It was very inspirational to see how these entrepreneurs got there start I am excited to start this project!

During my enterpreneur research, I came across Steve Jobs and Walt Disney. Both work with entertainment. Jobs works with inventing and creating new technology. Disney makes cartoons and characters and puts it all together to make a short film. Both already passed away [sadly]. Walt Disney passed many years ago while Jobs passed away in 2011. Also, they recently made a movie called Jobs, and it is about Steve Jobs. He is played by Ashton Kutcher. I don't know if they have made a movie about Walt Disney, but he did make some! These two can connect in a way. You may want to watch the original and classic Cinderella made by Disney, so you watch it on an iPhone,iPad, or iPod, which was created by Steve Jobs. These two entrepreneurs are very interesting, and I wonder who I will choose for my project!

This week, I have been researching several different entrepreneurs. Two of them have really stuck out to me, Thomas Burberry, the creator of Burberry and Dany Sanz, the founder of Makeup Forever. Both of these entrepreneurs have created their own makeup line. However, Burberry isn't famous for their makeup, but for the trench coat. Burberry also has created other lines such as fragrances and accesories. Dany Sanz, however specializes in only makeup. These two entrepreneurs both sell products that are very, very expensive. Thomas Burberry is now dead, while Dany Sanz is still alive. By reading about them, I have figured out what it takes to be an entrepreneur.

This week I researched Henry H. Braum and John and Carol Kunts. They both made some type of ice cream shop. Henry H. Braum made Braum's, the name coming from his last name, and John and Carol created Andy's, named after their son. Andy's sells frozen custard, while Braum's sells different kinds of ice cream. Braums started in the 1930s. Way back then, right? Andy's started in the 1980s, which was't as long ago. They both started just small, family businesses, but they grew into what they now are: big and popular. Researching them should be interesting... if I can pick one!

I am researching Bill Bowerman, Phil Knight, Frank Bellisimo, and Teressa Bellisimo. Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight created the company known as Nike. Frank Bellisimo and Teressa Bellisimo founded a restourant in Buffalo NY called Anchor Bar. Teressa Bellisimo also invented the famous food we now call wings. There is only one similarty I can think of between all of them, and thats let they all started a business.Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight have a sports company. The Bellisimo's have a resturant.

Bill Gates begaan programing computers at the age of thirteen. He was also the first person to become a centibillionaire. Mean while Kim has released 5 fragranses. Eventhough these two people have alot of diferences the both are still entreprenuers. Yes surprisingly, Kim Kardashian is considers an entreprenuer.

This week is reseached many entrepreneurs, but Selena Gomez and Donlad Trump stuck out. I have kown these two people for many years. I think that one thing that is differnet from Selena and Donald is that Serlena is more known to more people for her music, clotheline, and movies / tv shows. Another thing they have different is that Donlad has his own companies and has a lot of money. One thing they have in comman is that they both made their own products. Another is that they both run a successful products and business.Lastly thwey never gave up on their ideas. These are the two entrepreneurs i like to researched the most.

This week I have been researching Phil Knight (NIKE) and Walt Disney, also I have noticed they are both great entreprenours but started very different! First, I think that Phil Knight struck gold with his idea to make shoes after coaching and know what a good shoe is. Walt Disney started his now huge business while stuggiling for income. Phil Knight's company Nike make apperal and shoes, but they also make smaller items. Walt Disney's company Disney makes movies, stuffed animals, and amusment parks. There company's are very different but are both very great!

Although there are thousands of entrepreneurs out there, I have narrowed it down to two entrepreneurs I want to do my project on. They are Satoshi Tajiri and Milton Hershey. While researching Satoshi Tajiri I answered my question “What obstacles did he have to overcome to run his business.” A huge problem for him was the fact that he had autism. This sets him apart from Milton Hershey, because it was a lot more difficult for him to create a successful business with his Pokemon products than it was for Hershey to create the Hershey chocolate bar industry. While researching Milton Hershey I found out that he got the idea of making chocolate from visiting a chocolate factory and seeing how fast the demand for this sugary snack was growing. This answered my question “How did he come up with the idea to start this industry?” These two entrepreneurs may show many differences, but they also have similarities. They both created a successful business, and they both faced many obstacles. These two both have very interesting stories; it is going to be difficult to choose between them.

This week I have researched about Mary Kay Ash, the founder of Mary Kay Cosmetics, and Sergey Brin and Larry Page, the founders of Google. Both of these entrepreneurs and are their company/products are very highly known. While Mary Kay makes money by selling their products, Google makes their money off of advertisements. Mary Kay Ash died on November 22, 2001, while both founders of Google are still alive. The Google founders are both men, while the Mary Kay Cosmetics founder was a woman. Both companies/products both started out from a small store and a small search engine. One of the questions was; why did they create this business? Mary Kay Ash wanted to start this business because she wanted to inspire woman that to transform their live. Google wanted to start out this business because they wanted to provide people the best user experience possible. Once I learned about these entrepreneurs, I now know who I want to do.

I have been researching 2 entrepreneurs. One is Radu Creosteanu, the other is Sergey Brin. Radu was the creator of the game Thanadar. He started Smart Lizzard Software. Sergey co-founded Google. Radu and Sergey have some things in common. They both created something. They're both software engineers. They also had a lot of education. They are different in that Radu's websites can be searched on Google, whereas Sergey's creation is the Google search engine.

For my two entrepreneurs I've did Lorde and Nicki Minaj. They both are singers and had to push to become successful. Lorde first got notice when she sung in a talent show when she was 12. Someone put it on youtube and many people discovered her talent. She then started properly writing music when she was 13. She was inspired by her friends and observing situations around her to write her hit album. Nicki grew up in a troubled home. Her dad did drugs and her mother had to work as a single mom. Surprisingly the distractions didn't get in her way. She graduated from high school and started studying acting and singing. She wrote songs and very quickly she was noticed by a bunch of people. I questioned "How do you make your business successful. I've learn that working hard, having determination, and giving a hundred percent can get you far.

I am leaning more towards oprah because she has a very interesting story on how she became what she is today. She had a very rough life and what she has did not come easy to her.

First the differences are that Porsche made a car and Gates made Microsoft which produces technology. The question I answered about Porsche is" What is the most selling brand of it's type?" The question I answered about Gates is, "How many products have they sold?"

The two entrepreneurs I chose are Enzo Ferrari and August Horch. Enzo created the Ferrari while Horch created Audi. Personally I believe both started a beautiful line of cars to come. Although they were both from Europe, Horch was German while Ferrari was Italian. Ferrari died on August 14, 1988 and Horch died on February 3, 1951. Both had success in making a wonderful line of cars. Also Ferrari is more of a performance car while Horch is more of a luxury car. These are the two entrepreneurs I chose.

The two entreprenuers I chose were Coco Chanel and Milton Hershey. While Milton was a amle entrepreuneur, Coco was a female. Coco was more into design and fashion while Milton did chocolate. One thing they both do have in common is that their legacy lives on today, like the brand Chanel and the world famous Hershey Chocolate. While doing my research many of my questions were answered. For instance one of my questins was if there were any obstacles they had to face and how they overcame them. For Coco Chanel I found that after World War I she had many obstacles. There was securing finance, assembling a new staff, seeking new fabric, and competeing against other companies. In the end she made her comeback with new desings, updated fashion, and new febric.

The two entrepreneurs I have een researching are MIlton Hershey and Micael Dell. By their last names, you probably can tell what they invented, Hershey's chocolate and Dell's computer. Based on what they make, they are very different. MIlton DID spend a long time finding the ingredients, but Micheal had to do a whole lot of programming to make his product, so he had to reach farther to get to his goal. Also, they started out differently. Milton's chocolate went BOOM! in the beginning, while Mr. Dell still had to wait a little longer. All in all, Mr. Dell and Mr. Hershey are two great men who we are glad were in this world!

I have chosen to do Scott lewrey or Ettore Buggati. Scott lewrey is the inventer of Bufalo Wild Wings. Ettore Buggati is the inventor of the fastest car in the world. I think the Buffalo Wild Wings would be a better buisness because its cheaper than buying a 16.4 million dollar car. I dont think there is a average person that has a money to byethe Veryon Buggati. It is a but load of money everytime you sale a Buggati. I still think running a resturaunt is a better idea. It is still a lot of money though. If I had to choose a buisness to run i would choose Buffao Wild Wings. It would be nice to own the fastest car in the world though.

I will be comparing Horacio Pagani and Kawasaki. Horacio has been working on cars for years, while Kawasaki has been working on motorcycles. Both are amazing builders and designers. Horacio has designed not only many pagais but also lamborganis. Horacio has built and designed some of my favorite cars in the world. Yet Kawasaki has designed some amazing bikes. Horacio has designed some of the most expensive cars ever. Both are great, but I like Horacio Pagani better.

I haVe been looking into Ole Kirk Christiansen, the creator of Legos, and Walt Disney. They both ended up focusing on things for children, but Disney had movies and short films for children and Christiansen had toys. They both had theme parks made after their amazing ideas. Christiansen was born in Denmark and his entire career was in there, and Disney was born in Illinois.

And Markus persson, or Notch. The well known owner of Mojang and Creator of the popular game minecraft. Smith and wesson created a business before our beloved gun enthusiast heaven, which they sold to winchester, a laundry company at the time, after going downhill. Their second is has been around over 200 years, and is a global weapons and amunition suplier. Where "Notch" was an alround succes in all programing. He has worked on tons of games before and scince the creation of Minecraft, and now has brought people a vitural world to live in and creat their perfect fantisy. Both well known and both with a steady income (if all were still alive). But while smith and wesson were engineers in balistics aswell as being econamist, while "Notch" wanted to creat a world for people to escape other humans and doesnt care about the money and creats new games frequently. Both are still great and well known people in our current world.
